This limited edition of ten watches in white gold pays homage to a hunter-case pocket watch presented by Patek Philippe at the 1867 Paris Exposition. Endowed with three complications – a minute repeater, jumping seconds and a second time zone – it was, when unveiled, the most complicated timepiece ever produced by the Manufacture. The engraver began work by carving the words “Patek Philippe Genève” into the dial plate, using a typography inspired by the stylized letters engraved on the back of the historic pocket watch that served as his model.
