This limited edition of ten watches in white gold represents a mariachi, the musician emblematic of Mexican culture, who accompanies the Day of the Dead and generates its intoxicating rhythm. The dial was first hand-guilloched with a “plume” motif and then coated with translucent enamel, through which the decoration may be seen, according to the technique of flinqué enameling. Next, the enameller laid down all the contours of the Grand Feu cloisonné enamel of the skeletons’ skull using about 55 cm of gold wire (~0.37 g) and filled the cloisons thus created with transparent, opaque and semi-opaque enamels in 32 colors.
