About this reference

This limited edition of ten watches in Grand Feu cloisonné enamel presents a blue peacock, a symbol of grace and beauty famous for its wheel, or display of its train feathers, during the nuptial dance. To reproduce the outlines of the feathers and the eyespots (ocelli), the enameller laid down about 69.4 cm of gold wire (~0.47 g). For the wealth of detail required on this complex composition, he then assembled a palette of 30 enamel colors, mainly transparent, but with some opaque or semi-opaque.
