This unique piece in white gold, representing a planisphere, expresses all the beauty of the continental plates and the complex geological structure of the ocean floor. The engraver hand-chiseled the sea bed, which the enameller then coated with translucent blue enamel. Using a palette of transparent enamels in 4 colors, he then succeeded in creating a striking effect of volume in the mid-ocean ridges and the oceanic trenches.
